Few months earlier Lakme had come with their new addition to the 9 to 5 range, and this time these are the liquid lipsticks but the better ones and named as Lakme 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Lip and Cheek Colour.
The unique part of these liquid lipsticks are, it can be used as lipstick and blush, in both ways... I love such products which can be used multiple ways, hence no need to carry loads of things while travelling , only one thing is enough to give a flawless look... Isn't it cool ? Sometimes I try to apply my lipstick as blush and see this time lakme came up with this innovative idea, though few brands already have such lip and cheek lipsticks but the price factor always keep my steps back...
The shade I bought is Coffee Lite... I got this from Nykaa when it was on 20% discount... Let's get into the review to know more..

PACKAGING - These weightless mousse lip and cheek colours come in the typical 9 to 5 design packaging of lakme... The rose gold screw cap makes it look classy and pretty.. The applicator is so perfect to apply... The pointed wand makes the application easier and perfect at the lip corners. The outer cardboard box has all information regarding the product...
SHADE & TEXTURE - The shade Coffee Lite is a very pretty muted brown shade with mauve undertone. The shade is so perfect for daily wear and office wear... It has no shimmer, the perfect matte shade .
The texture is so soft and has mousse consistency. It glides on lips very smoothly and gives a soft matte finish look... The shade is not fully transfer-proof. Though it settles into a soft matte finish but doesn't dry out my lips... The finish is nearly to Miss Claire lip creams in fact better than that. It doesn't feel heavy on lips nor settle into fine lines... The lip and cheek colours have very sweet vanilla fragrance which will not bother the sensitive noses at all.
PIGMENTATION & LONGEVITY - The shade is super pigmented in one swipe only... Isn't it great? As it is densely pigmented, one should be careful while applying as blush... I only need a tiny quantity product and blend with light handed . You have to be very fast while blending as it settles down into powdery matter finish soon... The shade provides a very nice natural glow to face... The shade lasts for around 5-6 hours (with very light snacks) on my lips and 3-4 hours on cheeks and after that it starts fading... You will need a good makeup remover for removing completely...
Over all I like the shade coffee light so much... Very neutral and perfectly suitable for fair to medium skin tones mostly. It is very light weight and the opacity is superb... There are so many options in this range.. I am going to buy few more shades as well...
