Here are the lights over the kitchen sink. There is one on each side of the sink. This picture shows the light with a vintage Edison light bulb. I love the shape of it but it has an amber color when the lights are on. This kitchen is almost completely white so I didn't like the amber color. I can't find the clear Edison bulbs, but I did find another bulb that I like almost as well and went with that... but I forgot to take a photo. After we finish the wall over the sink I'll take another photo.
These are shelves where the old pantry was. We have to finish the trim on the walls but that can't be done until we install the countertop... which we will pick up tomorrow!! Sooooooo excited! The top shelf is going to hold some of my cookbooks and the bottom shelf will hold the two canisters below.
These were my grandmother's and are totally NOT my style. So they have been hidden away in the pantry, holding brown sugar and pasta. But they are about to get a new look..
They are primed and ready for red paint and chalkboard labels! The tops will be painted black, and then they will come out of the closet to sit on the bottom shelf of the two new white shelves.
